A sectional door is made of horizontal panels connected by strong hinges. As it opens and closes, the door bends and curves inside a track system fixed to the door frame and garage ceiling. Unlike tilt doors, sectional doors don’t need any clearance room when they open and close. This is a bonus for anyone with a short driveway or whenever a car needs to be parked close to the garage.
